Choose one or more of the following activities for your school camp, church camp, scout, guide, youth, corporate or community group etc. (Charges apply and additional charges may apply for public holidays)

 STANDARD ACTIVITIES

Waterslide A 40 metre slide, through a beautiful bush setting, is one of our most popular activities.

Challenge Valley An Army styled obstacle course with 15 different elements ranging from rope climbing, suspended ladders, water holes and mud pits along a 1.5klm track. Each participating person is required to bring old clothes and closed in shoes.

Caving Work your way through a man made maze of caves with tight squeezes and crawl throughs. Each participating person is required to bring a torch, old clothes and shoes.

This activity is currently closed Low Ropes Course A huge variety of challenging elements suspended one foot above the ground excellent for team work, communication, leadership and confidence building.

Orienteering Learn the basics of map reading and navigation, two challenging courses available in a semi dense bush environment.

Pioneering Learn the basics of knot tying while building chariots, bridges and ballistae. Great for teamwork, communication, leadership and co-operation skills.

Indoor Rock Gym Learn the basics of climbing with a safety mat.

Archery Learn the fundamental techniques and skills when using a bow and arrow.

ADVENTUROUS ACTIVITIES

High Ropes Course Test yourself as you proceed through a series of elements high off the ground

Abseiling We have a number of natural rock faces for you to abseil down.

Flying Fox A fun and exhilarating 15m activity.

Giant swing How high can you go. Your team mates pull you up until you say stop. You then pull the release and away you go.

Rock Climbing We have a natural rock wall for you to climb as well as a climbing wall with different levels of difficulty

All activities are supervised and run by qualified Activity Leaders and are subject to age restrictions and require a minimum of 15 people.

Any Scout/Venturer group spending time at  Cataract who would like to experience Amateur Radio especially  late afternoon/early evening (as a free fill in activity) are asked to contact Ian Hawkins direct:  email  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call (02) 9820 5996 to arrange this.  Provided members of Fishers Ghost Amateur Radio Club, who maintain the Amateur Radio Building at Cataract, are available someone from the Club will gladly attend.   It would be appreciated if 2 weeks notice could be provided.

Please note this MUST be organised through Ian Hawkins and NOT Park Management.”
