Scouts Australia is proud to be a Major Sponsor of National Youth Week 2012. Held from Friday 13th April to Sunday 22nd April 2012, National Youth Week (NYW) is back this year with the new theme of Imagine. Create. Inspire.

NYW is an amazing experience for youth around Australia, allowing them to immerse themselves and get involved in a fantastic range of events, activities and competitions. Young people are encouraged to share ideas, showcase their talents, celebrate their contribution to the community, attend youth events, enjoy themselves and HAVE FUN … and that’s what Scouting is all about too!

Join thousands of young people aged 12–25 from across Australia and get involved in NYW this year. NYW is an opportunity for young people to:

• Share ideas

• Have their voices heard on issues of concern to them
• Showcase their talents
• Celebrate their contribution to the community

How can You get involved? There are many ways you can get involved in NYW 2012:

• Attend the official National launch
• Attend your state or territory launch or closing ceremony
• Host an event
• Enter the competitions
