Q. How can you find North using just a wristwatch?
A. In the Southern Hemisphere- it’s easy!
All you need to do is
- hold your watch horizontally (or put it on a flat level bit of ground)
- Point twelve o’clock towards the sun
- The mid point between the 12 and the hour hand is the direction of North.
If its daylight savings, you have to point one o’clock to the sun instead.
Make sure your watch is not a digital one!
