Type of Challenge:
This is an Individual Challenge. Each member of your Patrol must complete this challenge and you must submit an image of each Patrol member wearing their mask.
Resources Required:
- Round plate – 26cm (or 10 inches) in diameter
- 30cm square piece of fabric – cotton-blend is best
- Scissors
- Sewing needle
- Cotton thread
- 2 hair elastics/ties
NOTE: This cloth face mask is not intended to replace a N95 mask as it will not protect you at the same level. By sewing in a small pocket inside the facemask, you can add a filter to offer greater protection than is provided by just two layers of cotton-blend fabric.
