The Alpine Activity Centre is located in Jindabyne, in the heart of Australia’s rooftop, the Snowy Mountains, and at the gateway of Kosciuszko National Park. It is within walking distance to central Jindabyne and Lake Jindabyne, and offers year-round self-contained cottages and dormitory-style accommodation for Scout Groups, community groups, schools, business/corporates, families and friends.

Baden-Powell Scout Centre

Situated on 36 hectares adjoining Lane Cove National Park, the Baden-Powell Scout Centre offers flexible training facilities and cabin-style accommodation in a bushland setting only 25 kilometres from Sydney CBD. The Centre is available for use by both Scouting groups and the public, offering a low ropes course, orienteering, rogaining, abseiling, crate stacking and other facilitator-led activities.

Cataract Scout Park

Baden-Powell Drive, Appin NSW 2560

Cataract Scout Park in Appin hosts large events including major Scout and Guide camps, major music festivals, fitness events, school camps, church camps and boot camp type activities for corporate groups and community groups. A number of outdoor activities are available at Cataract, including abseiling, bird watching, bush walking, caving, orienteering, water activities, commando/fitness and a water slide.

Air Activity Centre

Aerodrome Road, Camden NSW 2570

Located at Camden Airport, 65 km south-west of Sydney, the Air Activities Centre provides flying experiences, runs badge courses and is a registered flying school for pilot training for both Scouts and Girl Guides. Activities available at the Centre include flying, training, aerodrome walks and Air Venture camps. The Centre also conducts Country Activities for Scout Groups in rural and regional New South Wales.

Australian Scout Museum



Buildings 140 and 146, Newington Armory - 1 Jamieson Street, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127

The Australian Scout Museum displays the archive of Scouting history in New South Wales. Managed by the Scouts NSW Heritage Fellowship, the Museum is open to Scouts and the general public every Sunday (except for the December/January School Holiday period) and hosts Special Events for participation by all Sections.

Water Activities Centre

The Point Road, Woolwich NSW 2110

Located at Woolwich in Sydney, the Water Activities Centre caters for Scout Groups wanting to undertake training, courses and workshops in water activities such as sailing, powerboating and canoeing. The Centre hosts Water Activity Days throughout the year, allowing members of all skill levels to enjoy a day on Sydney Harbour and become familiar with its fleet of powerboats, sailing boats, canoes and inflatables.
