The 4WD Level 1 is a basic course to teach drivers how to negotiate difficult 4WD tracks and perform recoveries. It will be a catered and camping weekend.

Course Prerequisities:
• You must bring your own registered low range and high clearance 4WD vehicle (one per person)
• No 4wd experience is required
• You must be licensed to drive the vehicle (P-plates and above, no L-plates on this course).
• UHF CB radio – installed or hand-held
• Own Tyre pressure gauge
• BYO Tent/Van/Camper

Only if you have these items, please bring an air compressor and a recovery gear.

You must have completed the Basic Outdoor Skills (BOS) BEFORE applying. To apply, please complete the L1 form and submit your application to training@nsw.scouts.com.au.
