Basic Outdoor Skills (1st Cabarita Mortlake Scout Hall, Concord) – Hume Region
November 9 to November 14
This course will run over a Monday evening online and a full Saturday face to face. You must be available for both sessions to complete the course.

This course is the Basic Outdoor Skills Residential Weekend that is required for Leaders (Scout, Venturer, Rover Advisors) and Rovers completing their Basic training program. Before you can be accepted onto the Basic Outdoor Skills Residential Weekend, you must complete the e-Learning component BEFORE APPLYING FOR THE COURSE. You will also need to download the Basic Outdoor Skills Assessment of Proficiency workbook, as you will need this on the course. This course is a self-catering course and leaders will need to bring their own hike (light weight) tent.
The dates and times for sessions are Monday the 9th November for an online theory session from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Sunday the 14th November from 9:00am to 5:00pm for the face to face session. All sessions are compulsory to complete the training.
