Bushwalking Level 2 (Hawkesbury River/Brooklyn Dam, Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park)

Bushwalking level 2 is a weekend course, where participants can add additional skills needed to safely lead youth members on bushwalking activities in intermediate environments (e.g. on rough tracks or off-track). Participation in this course does not guarantee you will be issued with the qualification as you must demonstrate you are competent in the required skills, which may require additional experience.
This course is for intermediate navigation off-track. Self‐catered, camping overnight including river crossing and BYO tent (please note: river crossing assessment may be simulated in flat or standing water). Bush toileting may apply. Applicants to submit a copy of their bushwalking log on the course.
Before applying for the course, you must have completed the Basic Outdoor Skills. Venturers and Rovers are also welcome to attend. To apply, please complete the L1 form and submit your application to firstname.lastname@example.org
