Special Needs Conference
August 10, 9:00 am to August 11, 2:30 pm
The annual Special Needs Conference is open to ALL adult Scouting members, and youth members over 15, and will provide information and resources to assist in delivering Scouting to those with Special Needs.
The Conference will include the Special Needs Awareness elective (Saturday 9.30am-12.30pm) and the Positive Behaviour Supports elective (Sunday 9.30am-12.30pm) and either or both of these electives can be attended as “stand alone” training for those who are not attending the whole Conference ($25 each, including morning tea. Lunch is optional at extra cost).
There will be an alternate program during the electives for those who prefer (e.g, if they have already done the electives and don’t wish to repeat).
If required, it is possible to stay overnight on Friday 9 August.
The cost of attending the Special Needs Conference is $170.
To register, please complete an E1 Form here.
Applications close Wednesday 10 July.
