Following a successful trial, the Scouts NSW Board of Directors approved the roll out of CareMonkey for all Scout Groups in NSW. The project team will work closely with the CareMonkey Working Group to introduce and roll out the online solution which will help Scouts NSW meet its strategic objective to reduce the amount of time Leaders and families have to spend on administration of Scouting.
CareMonkey will support Scouts NSW reduce the amount of paper forms and increase the capacity to manage and communicate with families at a local level. The greatest impact on families will be the reduction of having to fill in a paper E1 form for Group activities.
Leaders can easily generate E1 forms and families can quickly provide permission via a website or mobile device with a click of a button.
Families can keep individual Members’ medical profiles and emergency contact details up to date.
Group Leaders can see at a glance those members who are attending Activities and access attendees’ current Care Plans with ease if required.
It’s a game changer for Scouts NSW. Of the 20 Groups who participated in the trial, 80% of Group and Section Leaders surveyed said they were Very Satisfied or Extremely Satisfied with CareMonkey. 95% of families surveyed would recommend CareMonkey as a product for all Scouts NSW members.
Implementation will kick off in October and continue over the next six months. Keep your eye on the Scouts NSW website to find out more about how your Group can sign up for CareMonkey.
