We’re looking for older Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, Adults, or New Youth Program ‘Project Patrols’ who appreciate NSW Scouting Heritage and want to help enliven Heritage for the New Youth Program.
We’ll work with you to make sure that you get as much out of Heritage that you put in, that you get to do something you’re good at and enjoy, or even help you to learn something new if that’s what you’d like to do. You can be involved as much or as little as you’re able, and we can align your Heritage efforts with your own badge-work or personal development in Scouting.
For example, we have a great ‘Project Patrol’ opportunity to refurbish the NSW Scout Heritage Trailer so we can bring Heritage directly to Regions, Districts and Groups. We’ve got a design, and we’ve got the funds, we just need a team of volunteers to bring it to life!
There’s lots of other ways to be involved. You can engage directly with youth members at their halls or at the Australian Scout Museum at Newington Armory help develop some awesome New Youth Program Heritage Programs, get ‘dusty’ ‘behind the scenes’ in our amazing archives, or get involved in so many other great opportunities.
