State Commissioner (One Program)

The State Commissioner (One Program) is a team leader within the Youth Program and Support portfolio and heads up the team who will provide age-based or Section-based Program support to the frontline and to the District and Region team members who also support our hundreds of Groups across NSW.

As well as Section-based support, the State Commissioner (One Program) will lead our focus on Peak Awards, major events, age-based activities, and support of our one Youth Program across young people from 5 to 25 years of age.

The State Commissioner (One Program) reports to the Assistant Chief Commissioner (Youth Program & Support) and leads a team of four Commissioners:

  • State Commissioner (Program Support – Rovers)
  • State Commissioner (Program Support – Venturers/Scouts)
  • State Commissioner (Program Support – Cubs/Joeys)
  • Assistant State Commissioner (Major Events)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the support of the one Youth Program across the State
  • Providing age-specific support to the Regions, Groups and Units
  • Identifying opportunities for recruitment and retention of members
  • Promoting and processing Peak Awards
