State Leader (Flying Fox)

The State Leader (Flying Fox) is a member of the Educational Support team within the Youth Program and Support portfolio, responsible for supporting the work of the Flying Fox Leads.

The SL Flying Fox is focused on helping adult and youth members achieve the best possible program and outcomes, specifically related to Flying Fox opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

– Leading and promoting Adventurous Activities in Flying Fox disciplines within the Youth Program across the State
– Working with the SC Adventurous Activities to ensure Scouts NSW has relevant and current Policies and Procedures for Flying Fox disciplines
– Ensuring there are sufficient suitably qualified leaders to support the delivery of Flying Fox discipline activities within the youth program
– Supporting the inclusion of Flying Fox disciplines in Major Events (as appropriate)

This position is open to any member or supporter who has an associated area of expertise or interest and who believes they can make a positive difference to Scouting in NSW.
