Planning for your next adventure

Idea from Fons, Scout Leader 1st Haberfield Scout Group

Thinking of what adventures you want to do next? Why not take the time to plan out your next steps.

Take or find a picture of a hike you are planning to do and  work out how long the distance is , where to camp, what to take on the camp, work out a menu and make a food list. You might want to do this as an individual or a Project Patrol.

You could even prepare your pack and check that it's the right weight (less than 20% of your body weight).

If you don't have a map handy and want to check out the topography visit Geosciences Australia to access their entire catalogue online.
